Zoom Time with the Kids

My family in Manila is trying to stay away from Corona virus by staying home. It is the best time for us to keep in touch online. Yesterday I helped my brother babysit his kids online!

They love educational activities. So we did a tongue twister challenge then, we played しりとり in English. My niece Charmaigne and my nephew Chase had such a fantastic time!

We at JOY would be more than happy to teach JOY kids online if the government decides to extend the shutdown of schools. We hope you will try to upload the Zoom App on your iPhone or Android. Let’s not let the fear of Covid-19 take control of our lives.

A Productive Spring Break


Spring break comes rather too soon for Joy English School. We are extremely sad to not to see our students for a long time.

Joyの春休みが予定より早くなってしまったため、わたしたち講師陣も生徒さんたちに長い間、お会いできないのがとても悲しいです。


However, I believe we should stay focused on our goals to excel in English no matter what!

しかしながら、どんなことがあっても、みなさんの英語における強みを失わぬよう、英語学習におけるゴールや目的に集中していきましょう!


Although I like to enjoy a relaxing break, I do not like not being productive at all. Being productive means using time wisely.

Here is how I enjoy and use my free time.

I love traveling, listening to intelligent podcasts to learn something new, hiking/climbing mountains, running, doing yoga, dancing, making jewelry, photography, baking, cooking, writing and reading.

I hate having nothing to do. And I think it is impossible. There are a million things to do all the time. How about you?

So, I have made this list of educational videos for our kids.

Joyの生徒さんがこの長いお休みを有意義に過ごせるよう、学習ができる動画リストを作りました。


I hope this will help busy moms and dads to keep their kids busy and away from trouble during the long break.

忙しいお母さんとお父さんたちのために、この動画リストが子供たちのより良い時間の過ごし方の一つの助けになることを願い、作成しました。
